Course Overview

Hands-on and simulated bench: diode circuits, transistor biasing, op-amps, combinational/sequential logic ICs, and PCB layout. Curriculum Structure & Core Modules: • 1. Laboratory Bench Instrumentation: Power Supplies, Oscilloscopes, and Function Generators • 2. Diode...

What You'll Learn

  • Construct and test diode bridge rectifiers, Zener regulators, and capacitor ripple filters on breadboards.
  • Measure DC Q-points, AC voltage gain, and bandwidth of BJT common-emitter and op-amp amplifiers.
  • Wire standard TTL/CMOS 74xx ICs to implement combinational logic circuits and verify truth tables.
  • Assemble and debug synchronous counter and shift register IC circuits using a digital logic analyzer.
  • Design a 2-layer printed circuit board (PCB) schematic and layout using KiCad with DRC verification.

Requirements

  • Laboratory breadboard kit, multimeter, wire strippers, safety glasses.
